The PLIN
PLIN I am a typical product of Piedmont, in particular the province of Cuneo in Piedmont and western Europe.

 THE PLAISANTIF

Piedmont, Piedmont, Italy

Il Plaisentif è il "formaggio delle viole". E' prodotto esclusivamente in Piemonte e solo in val Chisone e in val Susa.

The Fort of windows 23 rising from the state of Sestriere
The fortress departed from the highest point (of the valley to Fort 1800 meters above sea level) in 1728 at the behest of Vittorio Amedeo II. It took 122 years because the construction was completed reaching the lowest point, near today's passage of the state (Forte Carlo Alberto by the name of the king who completed the construction in 1850).

The fort was built to defend the new kingdom of Savoy in Piedmont by the French raids even though he was never directly involved in the battles. It was used mainly as a prison camp.

In the Second World War saw several clashes between supporters of the Piedmont Chisone German army. It was finally abandoned by the Italian army in the late '40s.

Since the '90s, thanks to a group of volunteers the Association of Project San Carlo Onlus "the fortification of Chisone has seen a resurgence with a strong cultural and value tourism.

Today Fort Finestrelle has become the symbol of the province of Turin.

 paniscia NOVARESE
There are not many certainties about the origins of this dish typical Piedmont and more specifically Novara. It seems that his name derives from the fact that originally was used in place of the panic rice or some type of cereal of little value. The Latin word "paniculum", "migliacccio", made with millet, it would seem the etymological root of the name. Derive from the same root as the other versions of this dish: the Panissa Vercelli (without vegetables) or the Val Sesia Paniccia. Indeed, it appears that the origins of this dish is very old even before the introduction of rice cultivation in Piedmont (1500).

paniscia NOVARESE (serves 4)
350 gr. of superfine rice,
200 gr. of dried beans,
350 gr. white cabbage (cabbage),
1 carrot 1 / 2 medium onion, 2 stalks of celery
,
3 pomodori pelati senzai semi,
50/60 grammi di cotenne di maiale,
80 grammi di pancetta tritata fine,
25 grammi di burro,
1 salam d'la duja(conservato nello strutto),
2 litri di acqua,
1/2 bicchiere di vino rosso,
pepe e sale q.b.

Aggiungete and water and a bit 'of sale.Tritare salame.Mettere onion in a saucepan with the butter and bacon, add sausage and onion and let cook over low heat for ten minuti.Mescolando with a wooden spoon, add the rice , let it simmer, stirring constantly then add the wine and let it evaporare.Continuare cook the rice, adding a little at a time the stock and the cooked vegetables and continue stirring with a wooden spoon until the rice is 'cooked (time and' about 20 minutes). Add the pepper, remove from heat and let stand for five minutes before you place it on a serving plate.

Piemonte sud est. Provincia di Alessandria dove la pianura piemontese inizia a salire and becomes Apennines, here is Novi Ligure.
The town where I grew up in Piedmont cycling champions Girardengo and Coppi.
Novi Ligure has a long tradition of confectionery, were born in its territory two major confectionery companies in Piedmont, and the Novi Pernigotti.
The origin of the town of Novi Ligure dates back to Roman times when it was known as Curtis Nova. Through various vicissitudes, was also part of the Republic of Genoa in 1500.
In 1818 he joined the Kingdom of Piedmont Sardinia, and then of the future.
In the heart of this Piedmont town you can see many buildings with painted facades dating from the seventeenth and XVIII.
These palaces include the Palazzo Negroni (photo) of the same century, richly decorated and equipped with two dials, one of which is based on the French revolutionary calendar.
The most important is called the Old Town Square Delle Piane, named after the historical noble family from Genoa, which is overlooked, as well as the eponymous Palazzo Delle Piane, (photo), the church Collegiate Palazzo Negroni. products typical of this area are:
- Lady's Kisses
- porridge
- focaccia
Novi - Novi canestrelli
- Cece of Merella
- Corzetti

Is It A Sin To Have A Dildo
the breadsticks typical product of Piedmont.

a symbol of Piemontese cuisine and especially in Turin is the breadsticks. The breadstick is also one of the most famous products of Piedmontese cuisine abroad.
Its origin seems
merit of Vittorio Amedeo II of Savoy, or better than his doctor.
To give the young member of the Savoy family, who could have difficulty in digesting the crumb of bread, the doctor around the year 1675 gave directions to Antonio Bruer baker to produce the Lanzo Torinese breadsticks.

breadsticks I had a quick spread through the Piedmont and around the country thanks to the easy digestibility and retention.

Even Napoleon loved the breadsticks in Piedmont and called them "petites batons de Turin" and it seems if you did send them directly from Turin to Paris.

The name comes from the "GHERSA", the classic bread Piedmont Form elongated. The form of breadsticks

oldest and most traditional is undoubtedly stolen or Robata (the pronunciation is still "stolen" in Piedmont means "rolled") length ranges from 40 to 80 cm, easily recognizable for its characteristic knots, due the handwork. The Chieri's stolen food products is included in the list of traditional Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. I am the same way as areas of classic production of stolen, the Torinese, the area of \u200b\u200bAndersonstown and Mondovi.

The only other form of traditional protection and breadstick breadstick ironed.
